I'm a self taught photographer/director who has been specializing in food & drink for 10 years. I'm currently splitting my time working between Toronto & Ottawa
So how did I get here?
Originally a graphic designer, I dove head first into photography after the purchase of my first camera. I found the transition into photography to be a very natural progression for me. As a designer you’re constantly paying attention to all the small details as well as the bigger picture…photography is no different.
I try to keep one simple quote in mind when I’m shooting food: “People eat with their eyes first”
Recently, I've been traveling back and forth to Japan, creating a 350+ page Japanese Whisky coffee table book that is slated for release in fall 2024. I've also been diving deep into AI composting and developing methods to integrate it into our photography workflow.
Shooting is my passion. I don't think I'll ever stop. If I'm not shooting, I'm planning a shoot or in the studio editing yesterdays shots. Want to chat about your project? Drop me a line here.
